Negotiated rates start at 180€ per person per night in single occupancy.
All rates listed are inclusive of breakfast and VAT, and exclusive of daily city tax.

HOW TO GET TO BORDEAUX?

By plane

Flights

Situated 30 minutes away from the Bordeaux city centre, the airport Bordeaux Mérignac (BOD) is the main airport in the south west of France.
There are three passenger buildings:

  • Hall A – international flights
  • Hall B – Air France
  • Terminal Billi – low cost carriers

Taxi

Taxi are available outside Bordeaux Airport Hall A.
Fares to the Intercontinental Bordeaux are ca. 30-45€ (35 minutes) from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport.
It is advisable to check that the meter is turned on at the beginning of the journey, and ask for a receipt/invoice.

Public Transport

Bordeaux tramway’s Line A links the airport with the city centre since the end of April 2023.

It is advised to take the Tram A from “Aéroport” until “Hotel de Ville” (ca. 40 mins). Both terminuses (direction “Floirac Dravemont” and “La Gardette Bassens Carbon Blanc”) are fine, then walk for approx. 12 mins to the Intercontinental Bordeaux.

If you prefer not to walk, take the tram A from “Aéroport” to “Hotel de Ville” then change with the tram B (direction: “Berges de la Garonne”) until “Grand Théatre”.

The cost for a one-way ticket is 1,80€.

By train

Trains

Not too far from the city centre, Bordeaux Saint-Jean is the main high-speed train station in the south west of France.
You can reach Bordeaux conveniently with TGV from Paris (several daily connections) and many other destinations (one change may be needed).

Taxi are available outside Bordeaux St-Jean.
Fares to the Intercontinental Bordeaux are ca. 20-30€ (15 minutes).
It is advisable to check that the meter is turned on at the beginning of the journey, and ask for a receipt/invoice.

Public Transport

Bordeaux tramway Lines C/D link the main Train station with the city centre.

It is advised to take the Tram C/D at the stop “Gare Saint-Jean” (direction “BORDEAUX Parc des Expositions / Gare de Blanquefort” for line C / “EYSINES Cantinolle” for line D) to the stop “Quinconces”. The Intercontinental will be a few steps away.

The cost for a one-way ticket is 1,80€.
